Waist Wrap Straddle Stretch

This is a simple stretch flow for beginners

Waist Wrap
β€’ Stand in front of fabric and make a twist. Reach hands through center wrapping front of waist
β€’ Reach back put hands through center above the crossed fabric.
β€’ Put elbows behind fabric so it is in armpit. Make adjustments so you are centered
Inversion with stretch
β€’ Lean back slightly pushing fabric, open legs and hook feet on front side of fabric
β€’ Press hands on knees for hip opening stretch.
β€’ Bring knees together grab toes and open legs for straddle stretch.
Climb up to Straddle
β€’ Hook both legs then bend at knees.
β€’ Reach up above knees and pull yourself up. Open legs and arms leaning forward on fabric.
Exit
β€’ Reach hands to front of fabric. Hold by waist bring knees together.
β€’ Look to your tummy and roll forward.
β€’ Release hands and unhook legs.
β€’ Bring legs to center turning back to standing position.

Open Hammock Hamstring Stretch
β€’ Open fabric place leg inside so there’s a little fabric by foot. Pull fabric up by hip.
β€’ Place hands in center and press open fabric lean forward forhamstring stretch.
β€’ Come back to standing and remove shoulders.
Thigh Wrap with Inversion
β€’ Grab the fabric on the inside, reach hands high and turn leg thru center of fabric.
β€’ Press forward, front arm reaches back to hold and bend knee to rest in fabric.
β€’ Bring front arm to back side so both shoulders are behind fabric. Reach up and bring leg to front.
β€’ Switch hand grip and reach back grab foot open chest.
β€’ Switch hands back, slowly lean back and hook your leg from the outside in.
β€’ Reach up and pull yourself up. Place foot on ground. Open arms stretch
β€’ Unhook your shoulder. Bend knee and bring foot forward.
β€’ Come back to center.

β€’ Hands reach up and open legs to sides, adjust if needed.
β€’ Enjoy holding this pose and breathing.

β€’ Hands reach up and pull as you bring your legs together, bend the knees inside the fabric.
β€’ Open hips and (if you feel balanced) bring hands to prayer pose. Focus on your breathing.

β€’ Reach up hold the fabric and lean forward opening chest.
Exit
β€’ Lean back into fabric, bring knees to center, pull up to standing position, and unhook feet into sitting position.

Spine Twist Stretch
β€’ Open arms and hand with bent knee reaches down, other hand reaches up and gaze upward.
β€’ Come back to standing and remove shoulders.
Thigh Wrap
β€’ Grab the fabric on the inside, reach hands high and turn leg thru center of fabric.
β€’ Hold forward and stretch arms. Next press forward, front arm reaches back to hold and bend knee to rest in fabric.
β€’ Place hands together behind head and lean back for stretch.
β€’ Bring front arm to back side so both shoulders are behind fabric. Reach up and bring leg to front.
β€’ Bring shoulders forward, grip fabric with thumbs down. Stretch to open chest.
β€’ Place foot on ground lean back and look up for leg stretch.
β€’ Turn body forward and reach to toes for side stretch, gaze upward.
Come back to center.

β€’ Begin with inversion, hook one leg. Open other leg reach toward ankle for stretch.
Climb Up
β€’ Reach up grab above knee, as you pull up the wrapped leg presses down and straightens. Bend knee on other side and open hands for pose.
Standing Leg Stretch
β€’ Next place foot on ground. On the wrapped leg push fabric to side, straighten leg and open arms.
β€’ To increase stretch reach for toes.
Kneeling Hip Opening
β€’ Relax leg and put shoulders to front of fabric.
β€’ Grab both fabric together and lower knee to ground. Slowly lean back and stretch.
